Jesus Bravo was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela where his passion for music was ignited at a young age. Jesus has been competing in singing festivals and competitions since the age of 10, and has performed not only throughout the United States but also with the International Lyric Academy in Italy.
Jesus is a graduate of the University of North Texas, as well as the University of Houston. He regularly collaborates with professional choral ensembles such as the Houston Symphony Chorus, Houston Mercury Singers, Harmonia Stellarum, and Bach Society Houston, both as a chorus member and a tenor soloist. Jesus is not only a performer, but also an educator; teaching students throughout the Conroe area as well as being a voice and music appreciation adjunct professor at Lone Star College Montgomery.
Jesus is excited about his new role here at Christ the King where he plans to use music as a tool for worship and community. He believes that music can foster a deeper connection among members of the church, embody Christian values, and shine as a beacon of light in the world. His goal is to inspire others to reflect Christ's light through their own lives and interactions, strengthening the church's mission, and enriching its spiritual journey.
